Republic Act No. 10173 of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA)
"to protect the fundamental human right to privacy of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth [and] the [State's] inherent obligation to ensure that personal information in information and communications systems in government and in the private sector are secured and protected."

This shall mean all information, whether delivered to or obtained by INTERVOLVE EXPRESS SERVICES, INC. and its employees from any of its client, whether oral or written, whether directly or indirectly, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and whether commercial, financial, or technical, and any other information including all secrets, financial, confidential, intellectual property, or proprietary information in whatever form prepared by the management and or clients in the course of purpose furnished and provided to the employees during discussions, meetings, and during the business operations. Confidential Information may include, without limitation, computer programs, codes, system, knowhow, process, ideas, other technical, business, and financial information, database and all information concerning current, future, or proposed products or services, client or customer lists and printouts, marketing and sales plan and any and all other information which contain in part or whole, or materials relating to the business and operations of the clients.
